Job Overview
A law firm is seeking a Capital Projects and Infrastructure Associate Attorney to join its Atlanta, GA office. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in project finance and development, with a focus on renewable energy and infrastructure projects.
Duties
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to project finance, including tax equity financing and debt financing.
- Assist in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) related to infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with clients and teams on engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) agreements.
- Develop and negotiate supply agreements and power purchase agreements.
- Independently manage components of complex deals, ensuring compliance and timely execution.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
- Mentor junior attorneys and support professional development initiatives.
Requirements
- 4-7 years of experience in project finance and development.
- Proven track record with renewable energy and / or infrastructure projects.
- Strong drafting and negotiating skills.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
Must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in Georgia.
