Sr. Technical Program Manager, AWS Investments

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an innovative and passionate technical program manager to build and manage new capabilities for our Investments Platform.

The AWS Investments platform is a collection of products and services that streamline and optimize sales and marketing program operations, engagement, and management.

You will have the opportunity to join a dynamic team with diverse skill sets, be able to influence our technical direction and build exciting new capabilities that operate at Amazon scale.

The platform will provide the foundation for full-stack applications built using native AWS technologies. You will interface with several key stakeholders of this platform including our product, program leaders and with our key technical partners across AWS.

A qualified candidate for this role enjoys building highly scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems using native cloud architectural patterns.

Key job responsibilities

In this role, you will :

  • Work with various functions and end users to identify, document, and communicate standard business processes.
  • Proactively identify and implement operational improvements, enhancements and system customizations that meet business requirements.
  • Define program requirements and help engineering teams meet goals, accelerating progress by driving timely decisions, clearing blockers, and making trade-offs.
  • Influence roadmap priorities, features, and engineering process working across multiple teams.
  • Define data quality and maintain metrics for all the programs.
  • Drive detailed business and technical discussions and alignment through meetings and clear, concise written communication.
  • Communicate status of development, quality, operations, and system performance to stakeholders.
  • Improve engineering processes within and across teams to improve the team’s efficiency and delivery.

Minimum Requirements

5+ years of technical product or program management experience
