Position Summary
- Directs the total maintenance activities associated with production machine repair, preventive maintenance, building and outside grounds upkeep
- Be involved in special projects relating to changes and improvements throughout the facility and fully supports Engineering projects.
- Provide training and technical assistance to support maintenance efforts.
- Determine schedules and skill requirements for all three shifts.
- Maintain a proper supply of machines, tools, and inventory of spare parts.
- Establish a technical library, reference materials and information.
- Incorporate a preventative maintenance program and document activities.
- Provide a clean, orderly and well-maintained maintenance atmosphere.
- Communicate with production, engineering and material service departments.
- Contract, communicate and follow work outside service providers.
- Support machine moves and changes needed by other departments.
- Communicate with upper management, relay company policies and requirements.
- Encourage the exchange of ideas, promote safety and responsibility.
- Other duties as assigned
