Job Title : School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)Location : Watkins, COEmployment Type : Full-Time / Part-TimeJob Description : I am seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language services to students with communication challenges.

The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders while working collaboratively with educators, parents, and school administrators.

This role is vital in helping students enhance their communication skills, which are crucial for academic success and personal development.

Key Responsibilities : Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students across various grade levels (PreK-12).

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), for students with diverse communication needs.

Provide direct therapy in both individual and group settings, focusing on areas such as articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language, and social communication.

Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education teams, and administrators to integrate speech-language therapy into the broader educational program.

Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy approaches to ensure continuous improvement.

Participate in IEP meetings, offering expert recommendations for accommodations, interventions, and strategies that support student success.

Provide training and resources to teachers and parents to support communication development in the classroom and at home.

Stay current with advancements in the field of speech-language pathology and apply evidence-based practices in your work.

Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).Qualifications : Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Valid Colorado SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Previous experience working with children in a school setting, preferred.Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to support student outcomes.Dedication to helping students achieve their communication and academic goals.
