Location : 900 23rd Street NW, Washington, DC 20037

Shift :  8-Hour Day Shift (7 AM – 3 PM, Monday–Friday)

Duration : 13 Weeks (Approx. 720 total hours, 40 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities :

  • Monitor patients’ recovery and consciousness levels post-anesthesia.
  • Obtain and record vital signs and report changes to the medical team.
  • Manage and treat pain, nausea, and other postoperative symptoms.
  • Administer medications as prescribed.
  • Observe for side effects or complications related to anesthesia.
  • Update EMR, maintain accurate patient files, and document care activities.
  • Educate patients and families regarding postoperative care and recovery instructions.

    • ⚙️ Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience :

    • Minimum 2 years ICU experience (required).

  • Recent PACU / Preop experience (required).
  • Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from the facility.
  • Not suitable for Surgicenter experience — candidates should be experienced in handling Level I Trauma Center patient complexity.
  • Certifications (Required) :

    • BLS

  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • Highly Desired Certifications :

    • CPAN, TNCC, CCRN

  • Education :

    • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program (Required)

  • BSN preferred
  • Licensure :

    • Active RN License in the state / district of practice (Required)

    Weekly Gross : $2,552.00 Per Week
