$20.00-$22.00 / hr starting based on experience and certifications

Description :
At Community Visions Supported Living, we serve intellectually disabled adults who would like to remain in the community with some assistance in their home.
We are seeking part-time / full-time / on-call staff in the Spokane area to support and sometimes teach individuals with disabilities.
You will be helping them be more independent in the community by working on increasing their social / communication skills, getting more involved in their community with activities / hobbies and volunteering, and helping them to build lasting and fulfilling relationships with others in their community.
This position is for patient, flexible people who are looking to make a difference in people's everyday lives.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum high school diploma or GED, preferred some secondary education
- Must be able to pass background check through DDA
- CPR / First Aid Certified (Agency will assist if not already certified)
- Medication Assistance Certification (Agency will assist if not already certified)
- Experience working with intellectually disabled adults including behavioral intervention required
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
- 40 hour core training(1163) or equivalent (Agency will assist if does not have one)
- Driver's license
