About The Position
Job Title : Speech Language Pathologist - Outpatient Job Specialty : SLP Outpatient Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (08 : 00 - 16 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : 72 hours per 2 weeks Experience : 1 year of adult experience required License : Alaska SLP License (pending license accepted) Certifications : BLS Must-Have : Experience with adult patients, willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) Job Description : Provide outpatient speech language pathology services in an adult neuro rehab clinic setting.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement therapy plans.- Utilize Epic for charting patient information.
- Participate in orientation involving 40 hours of non-billable training.- Complete required modules pre-start and annually, averaging 16 hours, documented in Workramp.
- Maintain compliance with facility guidelines and protocols as a part of a Magnet and Level II trauma center.- Uphold COVID-19 vaccine requirements with possible medical / religious exemptions.
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.- Submit a minimum of 2 supervisory references covering employment within the last three years in a comparable specialty / setting.
- Participate in communication through provided devices if required for assignment.- Explore and arrange housing options in the area, as availability may be limited.
Note : This position does not require on-call or weekend shifts, and is open to accommodating block schedules. Applicants must ensure valid state licenses and be willing to work within compliance regulations.
Housing and transportation arrangements should be secured before the start date.
