Senior Software Engineer

Epic Sciences, Inc. is developing novel diagnostics to personalize and advance the treatment and management of cancer. Epic’s mission is to enable the rapid and non-invasive detection of genetic and molecular changes in cancer throughout a patient’s journey.

POSITION SUMMARY : This role requires deep experience as a software developer with a focus on designing and developing web-based applications and services.

ELEMENTS : Education / Experience : 7+ years of software development experience; B.S in a relevant field preferred or 8+ years of relevant experience;

strong experience with middle layer web application and API development, ASP.NET technologies (entity framework, razor, blazor), cloud-based web service design, front-end web (react, javascript, typescript, redux) development, back-end web service design, general competence in programming practices, architecture, design patterns, and unit testing.

Further, preferred experience would include these areas : C, C++, C#, python development, Cloud (AWS, Azure), SQL and MySQL, working in a regulated environment, HIPAA and CLIA compliance, web security, and developing workflow related software in a laboratory environment.
