Qualifications :
- Doctorate degree
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Primary Care
- Valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) certifications
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification
- Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine in NJ
Preferred :
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Geriatric Care, Senior Care, or Geriatric / LTC
- National Provider Identifier (NPI) Number
Role Overview :
As a Physician with our organization, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional medical services to homebound patients, focusing on symptom management and enhancing quality of life.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in primary care settings, with experience in geriatrics recommended.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide direct medical services and consultation to primary care homebound patients
- Monitor patient's condition and responsiveness to treatment
- Maintain complete patient records using Electronic Medical Record systems
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and agency policies
- Collaborate in education programs for staff and participate in community outreach initiatives
- Adhere to infection control and safety policies
Schedule and Shift Details :
- Full-time position, 8 : 30 am - 4 : 30 pm
- 1 weekend per month
- Rotation for summer and winter holidays
