Job Description : Responsible for scheduling, planning and implementing instruction for students with disabilities in conjunction with the general education classroom teacher.
- Duties and Responsibilities : Screening and evaluating students to determine need for Adaptive PE; develop APE goals and objectives;
- mantain accurate and complete records in compliance with the law for IEPs and Reports of Progress; monitor student progress;
- attend and contribute to IEP meetings; develop adaptations or modifications of the PE curriculum for identified students;
consult with PE Teachers, ESS staff, and other team members as needed.

Job Qualifications : Arizona Special Education certification and Arizona Elementary Teacher Certification with PE as an approved area or PE endorsement OR Secondry certificate with PE as an approved area of PE endorsement.
Candidate can hold a valid Physical Education, PreK-12 Teacher Certificate.
Licensing / Certification Requirements : Valid IVP Level One AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
Employment Information : 2024-25 school year; 194 work days ( 216 day teacher calendar)
