Position Summary :

The Contract Specialist is responsible for managing and growing Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) and Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) contracts while administering sales commission structures and reporting. This role bridges strategic contract negotiation and operational support, including RFP management, rebate processing, commission calculations, distributor communication, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product Development teams.

Key Responsibilities :

GPO & IDN Contract Management

Redline and negotiate GPO and IDN contracts to secure favorable pricing and terms.

Maintain effective communication with GPO / IDN stakeholders and ensure smooth execution through all authorized distributors.

Sales Support, Reporting & Commission Management

Provide GPO rosters and sales performance targets to inside and outside sales teams.

Coordinate and manage distributor sales tracings and purchase data using Excel and internal tools.

Run detailed sales analysis and generate periodic reports for sales reps and leadership.

Calculate and validate employee sales commissions based on contractual terms, performance metrics, and traced sales data.

Ensure timely and accurate distribution of commission reports to Finance and Sales departments.

Address commission-related inquiries and discrepancies in coordination with the Finance team.

Administrative & Cross-Functional Support

Process Local Vendor Contracts (LVCs), managing extensions, renewals, and terminations based on sales rep input.

Process and validate rebate claims, credit memos, and ensure accurate GPO fee payments on a monthly and quarterly basis.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Management, or related field.

3+ years of experience in contract management or sales operations, preferably in medical devices, diagnostics, or healthcare industries.

Hands-on experience with GPO / IDN contracts, distributor sales tracings, and employee commission structures.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) and data analysis.

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Experience :

Experience managing commission programs for sales teams, including multi-tiered or regional plans.

Familiarity with rebate administration and distributor pricing models.
