BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION :
Manage effective and positive relationships between Kubota and independent dealers to include inventory management, program interpretation, target market incentive allocation, and standard KTC policies and procedures within assigned territory.
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for coordinating with Kubota stakeholders.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES :
- Develop and enhance dealer relationships through visits, participation in dealer events, training and resolving outstanding issues or concerns.
- Manage all dealer development activities within territory to confirm proper market coverage for all product segments.
- Responsible for increasing market share results in all segments.
- Responsible for inventory management of all equipment within territory to maintain necessary month’s supply.
- Provide division and corporate management with sales trends, analysis, and forecasts.
- Develop necessary action plans to identify market segment opportunities and improve Kubota’s market presence within assigned territory.
- Manage marketing activities between dealer locations and KTC agencies while staying within the assigned co-op budget.
- Additional duties assigned by management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelors’ degree in a business, marketing, manufacturing or mechanical field preferred.
- With a degree at least 5 years of industry experience required.
- In lieu of Bachelors’ degree at least 10 years of industry experience.
- Demonstrates professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven retail and wholesale sales experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Typical dealership environment to include operation of Kubota equipment.
