The Opportunity :

Saint Luke's North Hospital in Kansas City, MO is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our radiology team.

You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, performing ultrasound exams to assist in direct patient care.

Shift Details : Full Time Nights; 3-12 hour shifts; Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 6 : 30pm-7 : 00am

Call requirements : 1 weekday of back up call / week

1 weekend of call approx. every 6 weeks

Rotation through the holiday on call schedule, no more than 1 holiday / year

The Work :

• Perform a variety of Ultrasound exams, including, but not limited to, Abdomen, OB / GYN, Vascular, Vein Mapping, Pediatric (Will vary by location)
• Perform Ultrasound Guided procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, FNA, and biopsies(Will vary by location and shift)

To be successful, you will need to be able to work in a team atmosphere as well as autonomously. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, adaptable, task oriented, resourceful, and possess strong communication skills.

Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Reg Diag Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Reg Vascular Technologist - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
