Key Responsibilities :
Comprehensive Support :
Deliver high-quality speech-language therapy services to students with diverse needs.
Assessment and Intervention :
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address students' communication needs.
Collaboration and Documentation :
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy into the educational environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
IEP Meeting Participation :
Actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to review student progress and update goals.
Requirements :
Educational Background :
- Masters degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Maryland.
Experience :
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Will consider CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) candidates.
