Summary :

Directs and coordinates the daily clinical operations of the service line. Responsibilities matrix across the organization in order to facilitate the multi-disciplinary team approach and collaboration.

This position is responsible for the daily operations and overall supervision of all clinical services delivered to patients.

Directly responsible for management of clinical services provided by clinical staff across the continuum of care; inpatient, outpatient, and all clinic care delivery sites.

Responsibilities :

Assesses the quality of patient care delivered. Evaluates needs of patients / families and provides patient- / family centered care.

Manages complaints and conflicts through to resolution.Responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies and monitoring quality improvement (QI) issues.

Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.

Participates in planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating the program.Monitors departmental budgets and regulatory compliance.

Determines and justifies need for systems / equipment / supplies / purchases; monitors usage and oversees proper working order and / or stock.

Develops and implements a comprehensive patient education / orientation program and participates in any research activities.

Education and Certification Requirements :

Bachelors (Required)Registered Nurse Compact License (RN LICENSE COMPACT) - Compact RN Multistate, Registered Nurse License (RN LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)

Additional Job Information :

Complexity of Work : This role requires critical thinking skills, effective communication, decisive judgment, and the ability to build and foster positive relationships.

The incumbent must be able to lead others and take appropriate action when required.Required Work Experience : Two (2) years’ experience within a specialized program as an RN, one (1) year of management / supervisory experience preferred.

Other Information : Masters in Science of Nursing Preferred. Licensure must be valid in the State of Florida.
