Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team in Battle Creek. This position plays an important role in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for our clients by ensuring all tasks are completed to company and client standards.

Key Responsibilities

Arrive on time at assigned locations and complete all required cleaning tasks.

Secure facilities upon departure.

Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, restroom sanitation, surface polishing, and window cleaning.

Restock restroom and facility supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and seat covers.

Replace mop heads and vacuum bags as needed.

Conduct quality checks to ensure standards are met consistently.

Notify the Area Supervisor or Manager of supply needs or shortages.

Report any maintenance concerns (e.g., plumbing issues, damaged flooring, broken furniture).

Follow all safety guidelines regarding chemical use, equipment operation, and incident reporting.

Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to follow instructions and adapt to new cleaning methods.

Positive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Good time management skills and self-motivation.

Previous cleaning experience is a plus, but not required.

Physically able to lift up to 20 lbs.

Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
