Job Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated RN with a minimum of 2 years of oncology experience to join the Surgical Oncology team in Plano, Texas.
The RN will provide care to patients in a 32-bed unit focused on medical and surgical oncology, plastic surgery, microvascular surgery, and palliative care.
The ideal candidate must be Chemo certified and passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide direct patient care, conduct assessments, and create individualized care plans for oncology patients.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and safety throughout treatment.
Administer chemotherapy and biotherapies to patients, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and their families, providing emotional support and education.
Participate in the ongoing evaluation of nursing practices, making adjustments to care plans as needed.
Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications :
Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience.
Chemo certified.
Current and valid nursing license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
