Position Details :
Join a renowned Level 1 Trauma Center as the Director of Surgical Advanced Practice! Hartford Hospital seeks an experienced Advanced Practitioner to lead and lead the Department of Surgery, which includes a diverse array of service lines : vascular, thoracic, transplant, plastics, general, trauma, and the procedures team.
This role involves driving improvements in care delivery models through collaboration with administration, physician, and nursing leadership.
The Director will develop policies and procedures related to surgical AP practice, advise on credentialing and performance standards, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Location : 79 Jefferson Street, Hartford, 06102
Setting : Inpatient surgery.
Schedule : Full-time, 60% admin + 40% clinical.

Qualifications
Requirements :
Licensure : Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
Training : Certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
Preferred Experience :
- 10+ years of experience in a surgery setting as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- 4+ years of leadership experience
- Experience with data management and analytics a plus
