About The Position
Job Title : Cath Lab Technician Job Specialty : Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Technician Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 4x10-Hour (07 : 00 - 17 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours for 12-hour shifts, 40 hours for 8 / 10-hour shifts Experience : 18 months of experience in specialty required, 2 years preferred License : ARRT and state license required Certifications : AHA ACLS and BLS required;
RCIS preferred Must-Have : Two of the following modalities : Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro Job Description : Seeking a team player with experience in Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro.
- Must possess experience in at least two of the four modalities mentioned.- The ability to float within the scope to meet facility needs is required.
- Floating to sister facilities within 20 miles may be necessary.- Weekend requirements can be discussed with management.
- Open to first-time travelers.- Call requirements will be based on the need of the unit and discussed with the nurse manager.
- Adherence to completing time-sensitive modules upon confirmation for assignment is essential.- Must be nicotine-free; a negative nicotine drug screen is required.
- EKG and Pharm tests are required during orientation, with a maximum of two attempts; study materials will be provided.- The facility has a strict policy against calls during the application process.
Other Requirements : This is a smoke-free facility. All applicants must be nicotine-free with no exceptions.- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines are required, with medical or religious exemptions only.
Two references from a direct supervisor / manager, assistant nurse manager, or director are required.- Facility does not accept any license infractions.
