Software is a strategic growth area for Keysight, and our enterprise entitlement management system (KSM) plays a pivotal role by enabling software management and automated license delivery for all Keysight products.

As a customer-facing enterprise system, KSM is instrumental in bringing new business models and products to market while delivering an industry-leading customer experience.

Internally, KSM is a daily-use tool for Keysight staff across customer support, order fulfillment, business operations, R&D, and more.

We are currently looking for a Senior Product Manager to help us build the next generation of capabilities and services within the KSM platform.

The ideal candidate will offer expertise in some combination of enterprise software licensing, business systems development, API & integration strategy, identity & access management, and / or SaaS provisioning & enforcement.

A great candidate will bring a mature and refined product management toolkit including intimate familiarity with Agile & hybrid software development methodologies, roadmap development & strategic planning, prioritization, metrics definition & data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement - the ideal candidate will be able to teach these skills to others.

Prior experience working as a TPM, PM-T, or software engineer is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities :

Develop ground-up product roadmaps focused on the confluence of customer pain-points / value-drivers and Keysight's business objectives.

Innovate on behalf of both customer & business to find opportunities to improve CX, revenue, and operational efficiency simultaneously.

Translate customer needs and business requirements into feature stories and work directly with Engineering & QA teams to iteratively deliver new capabilities.

This includes leading UAT, A / B testing, and prototype development as needed.

  • Define, audit, and publish actionable metrics to inform decision-making, assess product health, quantify success, and drive accountability with feature-requester teams.
  • Pro-actively build relationships and manage collaborations with stakeholders & partners. This includes aligning priorities, managing expectations & first-tier escalations, communicating updates, coordinating project scope & timelines (when project manager support not available), and negotiating cross-functional dependencies.
  • Provide consultative guidance for large cross-functional initiatives with dependencies on or impact to licensing & software management.
  • Build in-depth knowledge of the platform (UIs, services, APIs, databases, etc.) to effectively contribute to technical discussions with software architects, engineers, and R&D partners.
  • Design APIs & web services to support scalable integrations with entities such as other business systems (ex. ERP, CRM, manufacturing, etc.

SaaS platforms, Keysight software products, IoT-like devices, and more.

  • Promote culture of operational excellence & continuous improvement across Product, Engineering, and QA - leading by example.
  • Contribute to leadership decision-making processes such as setting organizational goals, evaluating build vs. buy options, understanding trade-offs of reprioritization, etc.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other technical / scientific field of study.
  • Minimum 7+ years of total experience in Product Management (or closely-related role).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience leading Agile development teams and managing the product lifecycle within a large enterprise environment.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-scope, high-complexity, and high-impact products.
  • Strong understanding of APIs (REST, SOAP, WebSocket, GraphQL) including their strengths, weaknesses, common uses, security, and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of system design principles (microservices, event vs. message-driven architecture, serverless & container technologies, orchestration, etc.

and common web programming language formats (Python, Java, JavaScript, Go, SQL, etc.).

  • Familiarity with UX / UI design principles.
  • Excellent analytical skills including hands-on proficiency in SQL.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to switch between technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Prior technical role (ex. PM-T, TMP, SDE, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with B2B software business, licensing models, or electronic license enforcement technologies.
  • Hands-on experience implementing identity & access management technologies or developing identity-driven product features.
  • Experience developing and / or integrating with operations-focused business systems (ERP, CRM, manufacturing, etc.).
  • Familiarity with 'SaaS-ification', SaaS activation & licensing, or SaaS monetization.

California pay range : MIN $119,000.00 - MAX $199,000.00 / Year

Colorado Pay range : MIN $110,000.00- Max $184,000.00 / Year

Note : For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region.

This role is eligible for Keysight Results Bonus Program.
