Your Role as a PreOp / PACU RN :

As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will :

Implement care plans, including medication administration and clinical treatments.

Document patient care accurately.

Monitor and communicate patient conditions to the care team, physicians, and families.

Assist patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

Evaluate and educate patients and families throughout the perioperative process.

Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.

Assess and care for surgical patients through all phases of the perioperative process.

Minimum Qualifications :

Associate's Degree in Nursing (required)

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)

Current RN license to practice in Kentucky

Required Skills :

We’re looking for someone with strong critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You should be comfortable working with minimal supervision and ready to take appropriate action in stressful situations.

Certifications :

Basic Life Support (BLS) - within 10 days of hire

ACLS - within six months of hire

PALS - within six months of hire

Licenses :

Registered Nurse - Kentucky State Licensure or Compact Licensure Required
