Overview

Location : Oakland CA (100% Onsite) Only Locals No relocation

Responsibilities

  • Leading identity and access management (IAM) transitions, specifically migrating from Okta to a new Identity Provider (IDP), consolidating applications, managing data migrations, and overseeing the decommissioning of legacy systems.
  • Ensuring successful migrations through robust validation practices.
  • Lead the transition of applications / services from Okta to a new IDP.
  • Manage the consolidation of applications / services between services, including data migration from applications.
  • Oversee the decommissioning of applications / services replaced by client specific solutions.
  • Establish and execute validation principles to ensure successful migrations.

Technical Skills

  • Comprehensive understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles and best practices.
  • Deep proficiency in Okta's Identity Engine platform (features, functionality, integration).
  • Strong expertise in IDP protocols : SSO, SAML, OIDC, JIT, SCIM (understanding appropriate use cases).
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.

    • Qualifications

  • 10+ years related experience in IAM domain.
  • Relevant certifications such as Okta Certified Administrator or Okta Certified Consultant are required.
