Job Description

Brightspeed is seeking a talented Ecommerce Copywriter specializing in the telecom industry to join our dynamic team! As an integral part of our marketing department, you will be responsible for crafting compelling copy that drives sales, enhances customer engagement, and reinforces our brand across our ecommerce platforms.

As an Ecommerce Copywriter, Your Responsibilities Will Include :

  • Copy Creation : Develop persuasive and SEO-optimized copy for product descriptions, promotional campaigns, landing pages, and email marketing materials focused on telecom products and services.
  • Sales Enablement : Create clear and persuasive messaging that effectively communicates product benefits, features, and unique selling points to drive conversions and increase sales.
  • Brand Voice : Maintain and enhance the brand voice across all digital platforms, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Customer Engagement : Craft engaging content that resonates with our target audience, encourages interaction, and supports customer loyalty and retention efforts.
  • SEO Optimization : Incorporate relevant keywords and SEO best practices to optimize copy for search engines and improve organic search rankings.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, and product management to ensure copy aligns with campaign objectives and product messaging.
  • Market Research : Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to continuously refine and improve copy effectiveness.
  • Quality Assurance : Review and edit copy for accuracy, grammar, clarity, and consistency.

Qualifications

What It Takes To Catch Our Eye :

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
  • Proven experience (5+) as an Ecommerce Copywriter or similar role, preferably within the telecom or related industry.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to write persuasive, sales-driven copy that converts.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tactics and ecommerce platforms.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
