The Position
This position directs and administers current Nursing and Allied Health programs, researches and develops new Allied Health programs and secures the required approval within established College policy.
This position also tracks data, advises students, performs course file maintenance and section scheduling, coordinates faculty teaching assignments, assesses Course Learning Outcomes, prepares program reviews, and contributes to the Writing Across the Curriculum program.
This position is expected to support Nursing, the joint Allied Health programs within affiliate schools, and all future health science programs associated with the School of Nursing & Health Science.

What You Will Do
1. Develops Allied Health programs including Diagnostic Medical Solography, Digital Medical Information Management, and Radiology Technicians;
conducts research on potential new programs, investigates clinical sites and researches appropriate accreditation requirements.
2. Administer joint Allied Health programs with affiliate institutions, including admissions, and serve as a liaison with other institutions and students.
3. Maintains all course information; adds, schedules and cancels classes for all programs in the School of Nursing and Health Science;
coordinates faculty assignments, monitors faculty loads, prepares overload and adjunct payroll; enforces pre-requisite and co-requisite policy.
4. Assists with the Learning Outcomes and Writing Across the Curriculum processes; conducts research and prepares reports.
5. Advise students and investigate any student issues / complaints.
6. Participates in student learning outcomes and assessment activities, accreditation activities, discipline and school meetings, the Colloquia, Commencement, open houses and program information sessions.
7. Acts as the liaison with IT regarding all system concerns, reports and operational processes.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.
The Successful Candidate Must Have
1. Master's Degree
2. Five years of administrative experience in a higher education environment that required the establishment and maintenance of relationships with instructors and students, the creation of detailed written communication materials and reports and the delivery of oral information and
Presentations.
3. Two years' experience in curriculum and program development.
4. Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and other related technology required of this position.
Even Better If You Have
1. Two years' experience administering allied health programs.
2. Two years' experience with data management programs; preferably Datatel, S25 and R25.
3. One year of assessment and accreditation experience.
