Taha’a Twisted Tiki is seeking a skilled, responsible and enthusiastic Fry Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience with frying techniques, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-energy environment.
As a Fry Cook at Taha’a Twisted Tiki, you will be responsible for preparing fried dishes, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and cook a variety of fried dishes according to the menu and recipes
- Ensure the highest quality and presentation of food served to guests
- Maintain a clean and organized fryer station, including equipment and utensils
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Monitor and maintain fryer oil quality and levels
- Assist in the creation and updating of menu items
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management about supply needs
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and smooth operations
- Handle customer special requests and dietary restrictions with care and attention
- Participate in training sessions and staff meetings as required
- Perform other duties as assigned by Managers
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a fry cook or in a similar role in a restaurant or bar setting
- Strong knowledge of frying techniques, food safety, and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Culinary school training or certification is a plus
- Knowledge of tiki cuisine and culture is a plus
