Details* Graduate Nurse- Medical Center Saint Joseph* Inpatient Nursing Units* Full / Part Time Status* All ShiftsSummary* The Graduate Nurse (RN) Inpatient works under the supervision of a Director.
The GN Inpatient assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and supervises individual patient care according to standards. Accepts responsibility for direction of co-workers in the implementation of plans of care.
May be required to work in other areas according to skill of staff and acuity of patient. Provides exceptional service to all patients and customers.
The Graduate Nurse position is time limited. A person may remain in the Graduate Nurse position until one of the following occurs : 1) They become a Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in their designated working state OR 2) They receive a failing score on the nurse licensure exam and are moved to another position in which they qualify.
This position is employed by Mosaic Life Care.Duties* Completes assessment / reassessment of patient and documents in medical record.
- Analyzes the information collected to determine patient's needs and expected outcomes* Develops and implements plan of care based upon the assessment, diagnosis, and expected outcomes of patient.
- Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications* Recent graduate of a school of nursing is required. BSN is preferred.
- N - Registered Nurse - State Licensure And / Or Compact State Licensure-And / Or Compact State Licensure in state, depending upon designated work location within 90 Days is required.
Clinical BCLS - Basic Life Support within 90 Days is required. ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support-IF working in an inpatient area in which ACLS is required.
