Position Summary : We are seeking a dedicated Classroom Teacher Assistant to support our Kindergarten through 2nd-grade scholars in Special Education and / or Bilingual / ESL pull out classes.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping young learners reach their full potential and thrive in a supportive and nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Individualized Support : Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring in Math, English Language Arts (ELAR), and Science, following Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for Special Education scholars.
• In-Class Support : Assist classroom teachers as directed by the campus director, contributing to a positive and engaging learning experience for all scholars.
• Vendor Support : Facilitate pull-out sessions with outside service providers, such as Speech therapists or Dyslexia specialists.
• Language Support : Provide one-on-one or small group language support to Emergent Bilinguals (EBs)
• Safety Monitoring : Ensure the safety and well-being of all scholars both inside and outside the classroom and on campus.
• Additional Duties : Perform other tasks as assigned by the campus director.

Qualifications : Required :

Required :

• Bilingual or multilingual skills.
• Previous experience working in Special Education and / or with English as a second Language Programs.
• Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Bilingual Education, or a related field. (Preferred)
• Successful completion of a background check.

Position Details :

• Classification : Non-Exempt
• Days : Monday Friday with occasional evenings and weekends as required.
• Normal Weekday Hours : 25 hours per week.
• Compensation : $25,000 per year.
• Reports to : Campus Director
• Location : 7540 Ed Bluestein Road, Austin, TX 78723
