The clinical scribe will accompany the physician into the patient examination area to transcribe findings in real time as the provider evaluates the patient.
Performs all clerical and information technology functions for the physician in a clinic setting.
Qualifications :
1. RMA, CMA, Surg Tech, or LPN license or certification.
2. Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical role.
3. Demonstrated ability to maintain attention to detail in order to accurately document encounter. Demonstrated observation, listening, interpersonal, and clarification skills.
4. Ability to record exam details quickly and accurately.
5. Able to apply understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form. Uses logic and able to draw conclusions based on knowledge.
6. Must be proficient in typing, spelling, punctuation, grammar, and oral communication.
7. Able to listen to complex medical information and summarize in a clear, complete, and concise fashion. Excellent English composition skills required to generate professional, polished writing at a high rate of production.
8. Knowledge of medical terminology.
9. Skill in operating a computer, experienced documenting in an electronic medical record.
10. Ability to work effectively as a team member with practitioners and other staff members.

Pay : $15.00 - $20.00 per hour based upon experience and qualifications
