ARTECHOUSE seeks to hire a Marketing & Revenue Lead for our Washington DC Location. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive consumer ticket sales for ARTECHOUSE.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive and hands-on strategist executing many areas of ARTECHOUSE's sales and marketing efforts, including but not limited to : Ticketing, Bar & Merch Sales Strategy, Promotions, Partnerships, Group Bookings, Advertising, Grassroots Marketing, and more.

This role will also participate in marketing team collaborations with colleagues in other locations as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS :

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4+ years of marketing experience in a ticket sales-driven property or luxury hospitality sector (e.g., tourism attraction, entertainment property, hotel, or related agency).
  • Proven track record in revenue optimization and business development, including experience with dynamic pricing, strategic partnerships, and market expansion.
  • Experience with group sales or private event sales is a strong plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as might be required by the demands of the role.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a strong drive to exceed goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for relationship building and representing the company.
  • Advanced sales and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to close high-value deals and partnerships.
  • Strong analytical abilities with experience in leveraging data for decision-making. Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools is a plus.
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on long-term revenue growth and business development.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a proactive approach.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Knowledge of the tourism, attraction, and entertainment industry, with specific expertise in the local market.
  • Experience in detailed budget management.
  • Proficiency in Google Drive and Slack is a plus.

COMPENSATION :

$70,000 - $100,000 + performance incentives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Revenue Growth Strategies : Develop and implement innovative strategies to drive revenue growth, including dynamic pricing models, upselling opportunities, and the exploration of new revenue streams.
  • Sales Performance Metrics : Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales and revenue. Regularly analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Market Expansion : Identify and capitalize on opportunities for market expansion, including targeting new customer segments and geographic areas.

Develop and execute strategies to effectively penetrate these markets.

Strategic Partnerships : Formulate and implement strategies for building high-value partnerships and collaborations with local businesses and organizations.

Explore co-marketing opportunities and cross-promotional activities to drive revenue.

  • Sales Funnel Optimization : Analyze and optimize the sales funnel to improve conversion rates and maximize revenue. Implement strategies to enhance customer acquisition efficiency and increase lifetime value.
  • Product and Service Diversification : Assess and recommend new products or services that align with market demand and enhance revenue potential.

Oversee the launch and marketing of these new offerings.

Event and Group Sales Strategy : Develop and execute targeted strategies to maximize revenue from group sales and private events.

Create tailored packages and promotions to attract large groups and private functions.

Competitor Analysis : Conduct ongoing competitor analysis to identify revenue opportunities and respond to competitive threats.

Adjust pricing and promotional strategies based on market insights.

  • Local Promotions : Design and implement local promotions to boost sales across tickets, bar, merchandise, and other revenue streams.
  • Collaboration with Digital Team : Work closely with the Digital team to optimize the venue’s presence on digital platforms and effectively engage target audiences.
  • Non-Digital Advertising : Lead local non-digital advertising initiatives to drive ticket sales.
  • Visitor Experience Coordination : Partner with the Visitor Experience team to develop on-site marketing programs that enhance the guest experience and foster positive word-of-mouth.

Monitor and improve online reviews in collaboration with the Visitor Experience team.

PR and Media Relations : Assist in media relations, including fielding press inquiries, coordinating interviews and photographers / film crew visits, working with the local PR agency on media coverage and media events to boost public visibility.

Build and maintain strong personal relationships with local media, influencers, and industry professionals.

On-Site Presence : Be present at the ARTECHOUSE venue for various events such as press interviews and openings. Represent ARTECHOUSE with cultural partners and citywide organizations.

Travel locally as needed for meetings and networking.

Other Duties : Perform additional tasks as needed to ensure the smooth operation and success of the organization.

REQUIREMENTS

Confirm you have 4+ years of marketing experience in a ticket sales-driven property or luxury hospitality sector (e.g., tourism attraction, entertainment property, hotel, or related agency).

Confirm you are located in the Washington DC metro area.
