JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is looking for a CMA for a pediatrics clinic in Beaufort, SC. The Certified Medical Assistant reports to the Outpatient Clinic Manager. Interviews patients, measures vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and records or inputs information to patients' medical record. Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. Basic computer skills required. Annual competencies are required to be maintained. Possess ability to understand and implement a variety of detailed instructions in the execution of therapeutic procedures and ability to make accurate physical observation of patients. Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. This person will be working M-F 8 am 5 pm, no weekends, no holidays and no nights required! This person needs a CMA certification, BLS up to date, and previous CMA experience. Preferably previously pediatrics or primary care experience. Bilingual in Spanish and English is also preferable.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• CMA license (Must be certified through American Medical Technologist (AMT), American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), National Healthcareer Association (NHA), National Association of Healthcare Professionals (NAHP), Medical Career Assessments (MedCA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)) - Current BLS (AHA) - Previous CMA experience
