Job Title : Sr. Client Relations Specialist

Location : Kansas City MO Hybrid (6x a month) OR 100% Remote

What You Will Get To Do :

  • Spend time getting to know our client’s business and individual system needs
  • Gather and document requirements by collaborating with stakeholders and team members
  • Act in a consultative manner by offering creative solutions, and proactively identifying opportunities where we can deliver even greater value for our customers through our platform
  • Pin point the root cause of problems, provide solutions, and own the solution from start to finish
  • Apply strong problem-solving skills to research and resolve client-reported issues
  • Troubleshoot platform specific and technology-based issues and work with internal teams to produce a resolution
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert on SS&C SalesConnect system functionality and products
  • Communicate complex concepts in client-friendly language
  • Develop an understanding of financial technology and how our investment products play a critical role in the market place
  • Have the ability to empathize and connect with clients
  • Don’t be afraid to ask the why and continue to learn
  • Build trust and transparency with your clients and team members to strengthen the relationship they have to the business

What You Will Bring :

  • Bachelor’s degree and / or 4+ years of client facing work-related experience required
  • Proficiency in use of tools such as word processing, JIRA, Python, SQL, and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Problem solving and numerical reasoning skills; ability to analyze data and take action
  • Career oriented, highly motivated, and self-starting individual
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
  • Efficient time management with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, processes, plans, and programs
  • Knowledge of asset management, particularly broker / dealer and advisor industry is PREFERRED
  • Proficiency in use of business productive tools such as spreadsheets, data management, project management, and presentations
