We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in the Lawrenceville, New Jersey area. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who excels in financial management and compliance. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring adherence to accounting standards.

Responsibilities :

• Manage the general ledger, including preparation and reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Oversee compliance with GAAP accounting principles and ensure all financial reporting meets regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular asset inventory reviews and maintain accurate records of company assets.
• Prepare financial statements and reports, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits, supplying necessary documentation and explanations.
• Analyze financial discrepancies and implement corrective actions to improve processes.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing detailed financial analysis.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Monitor and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets and enhance operational efficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in senior positions.
• Strong proficiency in general ledger management and GAAP accounting principles.
• Demonstrated expertise in asset inventory management and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• CPA certification or progress toward CPA designation is preferred.
