As a caregiver with New Outlook Home Care, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients.
Job Summary : Provide care and assistance to elderly or disabled clients in their homes. This is a non-medical position focused on providing companionship and ensuring the client's safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Assist the client with getting ready for bed, including changing clothes, brushing teeth, etc.
- Help the client with morning routines such as getting dressed, bathing, or preparing breakfast
- Prepare light snacks or beverages as requested by the client
- Provide companionship and engage the client in conversation as desired
- Monitor the client's condition and alert appropriate contacts if any concerns arise
- Document all activities, client condition, and any incidents that occur during the scheduled shift
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and client care plans
Required Qualifications :
- 1+ years of experience providing in-home elder care or assisting with activities of daily living
- Ability to work independently and make sound judgments in a client's home environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable personality
- 18 years year of age or older
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with current insurance
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
