Job Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism.

As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in implementing behavior plans and providing support to clients.

Responsibilities :

• Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Work directly with individuals to provide behavior therapy
• Collect data on client progress and behavior
• Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement care plans
• Assist in behavior management and crisis intervention as needed
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records and documentation
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality

Experience :

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques
• Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation
• Ability to provide direct patient care with compassion and empathy

Preferred Skills :

• Previous experience working with children
• Enthusiastic, genuine, energetic and compassionate
• Familiarity with creating and implementing care plans
• Proficiency in medical records management
