- Practice in a clinical environment administered by Nurse Managers and other leaders.- Use evidence-based practice and research guided by Professional Practice Models.
- Uphold nursing practice standards as outlined by the Professional Nurse Practice Act.- Ensure the delivery of relationship-based patient-centered care that reflects cultural diversity.
- Partner effectively with patients and significant others to achieve optimal care outcomes.- Document and coordinate safe, quality patient care while promoting a respectful environment.
- Engage in teamwork and foster a collaborative clinical setting.- Participate in performance improvement and support shared governance.
- Mentor and preceptor for professional growth.- Promote evidence-based practice and participate in relevant research activities.
