Baystate Health Brief unit Description (2-3 sentences max) : Small 6 bed Community hospital ICU. We typically staff for 4 beds. Lower acuity critical care unit

Unit Size / Beds : 6

Expected Ratios : 2 : 1

Cases seen : Respiratory failure (intubated), Rapid Afib on drips, Sepsis, Pneumonia, Withdrawal patients requiring titrated drips, CHF

Years of Exp preferred : 5+ preferred

Certifications required : BLS and ACLS

Any additional details that may help the agency with recruitment and onboarding / compliance : Utilize Cerner CIS for charting system. Small community hospital. Great team! If a patient is too acute for our hospital we transfer to our Main campus level 1 trauma center.
