Corporate Accountant $70k - $100k DOE
The Accountant plays a key role in maintaining accurate inventory valuation and reporting on assets and liabilities. This position includes responsibilities such as reconciliations, performing advanced financial analysis, and overseeing various accounting processes.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and complete financial transactions (AR / AP / GL / Fixed Assets / Intercompany / Banking, etc.) accurately and on time, adhering to established accounting procedures.
- Address and resolve operational issues while meeting stakeholder requirements.
- Analyze general ledger accounts for accuracy and identify any extraordinary or unusual items.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure SOX compliance.
- Prepare weekly and month-end journal entries to maintain accurate account balances.
- Participate in special projects focused on continuous improvement to resolve issues and enhance productivity.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of related experience, or equivalent work experience
