We are currently seeking IT and engineering professionals who are searching for technology jobs for the following opportunity :

Service / Installation Engineer, Resident Site Service Engineer - Marysville OH

Responsibilities :

Troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of companys robot controllers, electrical control devices, mechanical units, transfer devices and peripheral equipment

Provide technical support to various parts of the company including Hotline, Sales, Training, Spare Parts, component Repair, product managers and project managers

Documenting robot and related peripheral equipment performance, failure modes and reporting results for the purpose of troubleshooting, repairing, and restarting the system

Perform warranty service on robot or system components provided by Robotics

Coordinate responsibilities, activities, and schedule with Service Supervisor to ensure customer Satisfaction, proper billing, and collections

Skills / Requirements :

Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic prints and related technical documentation

Ability to read and interpret PLC ladder logic

Previous experience with FANUC robots, controllers and peripheral equipment on Rj3iB and R30iA control platforms

Previous experience with common robot applications (spot welding, arc welding, material handling)

2 year Associates degree or equivalent technical education, Bachelor degree preferred.

5 years experience working in a related environment

5 Years Robotics Integration / Installation / Service Experience

Mechanical / Electrical / Pneumatic Troubleshooting, Teardown, and Repair Experience

Significant Travel Experience

Must be able to accept the physical and mental strain of extensive and demanding travel itineraries

Must be able to work within potentially harsh industrial environments within the guidelines set forth in various OSHA Laws
