AW Health Care has all this and more! AW Health Care invites experienced, dedicated and compassionate CNAs and Caregivers to apply to our hourly positions for clients located in the St Charles, Lincoln and Warren Counties.
Priority will be given to CNAs or Caregivers that have experience with bedbound patients, knowledge of transferring heavier patients with gait belts and Hoyer lifts and have 2 - 5 years professional or more paid experience.
To be considered eligible, candidates must have a valid driver's license, your own personal, reliable vehicle and auto insurance.
CNA / Caregiver Job Summary : The CNA or Caregiver provides personal hygiene and a safe environment to clients. Priority will be given to providing for the client’s physical care such as personal cleanliness and attention to the immediate environment which directly affects the client’s health and safety needs.
CNA / Caregivers services are scheduled as intermittent visits provided to the client according to the client’s care plan.
Shifts : We offer varied shifts, Monday through Friday and weekends. We are requiring at least 2-3 days a week availability and every other weekend.

CNA / Caregiver Requirements :
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have valid driver's license, your own personal, reliable vehicle with full coverage auto insurance and be able to independently access client’s residence and perform client transportation and errands if requested.
- Must have working and charged cell phone that is used for clocking in and out and communication with AW that consists of accessing texts, voicemails, emails and phone calls.
- Must have at least 2 - 5 years one on one care, paid work experience working with the geriatric population or similar care and responsibilities.
- Working with clients with Dementia and Alzheimer's is preferred.
- Ability to work with pets and smokers in client homes, preferred
- Must be able to transfer heavier clients from bed to wheelchair
- Ability to use gait belt and Hoyer Lift preferred or willingness to learn
- Must maintain required yearly training / education as mandated by agency
- Must be able to read, write and follow directions and have moderate computer skills.
- To excel in this role, it is essential to showcase a profound understanding of growth and development principles across the entire lifespan.
