Healthcare Setting : Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) – LGH Operating Room

Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Job

Start Date : November 17, 2025

End Date : February 14, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 8-hour day shifts (6 : 30am – 3 : 00pm), with weekday and weekend call required

Hours per Week : 40

Orientation : Every other Monday

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2,740 - $2,930

CVOR Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR RN experience in a hospital or surgical setting

Prior travel nursing experience required

Active Virginia or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license

BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required

Cerner EMR experience preferred

Ability to first scrub and assist with cardiovascular surgical procedures

All requested time off must be submitted with application

Local candidates are not accepted for this travel nursing job

CVOR RN Responsibilities

Deliver expert nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room

First scrub and assist surgeons during cardiovascular procedures

Participate in weekday and weekend call rotation as part of the surgical team

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals

Maintain accurate documentation and patient records using Cerner EMR

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
