About The Team

With eight specialized departments, the engineering team functions as a highly collaborative, diverse powerhouse. Each department's mission is to deliver seamless and innovative communication solutions.

These range from software development and machine learning to quality assurance teams that work to create and maintain Zoom's user-friendly interfaces and robust infrastructure.

The team continues to push the boundaries of communication technology, bringing people together regardless of their physical distance.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in writing software code in one or more programming languages.
• Java EE experience including REST services, Web Services, and / or other portal technologies.
• Preferred experience with an RDBMS such as Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server, and any no-SQL DBs like Maria, MongoDB.
• Working knowledge of software engineering principles, domain-driven design patterns, and R&D Engineering practices.
• Use of integration technologies (e.g., MuleSoft, Kafka, SOA, etc.).
• Knowledge of cloud foundry, Kubernetes, Containers, Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and modules.
• Familiarity with DevOps processes and agile methodology.
• Experience in debugging and identifying bottlenecks and performance optimization.
• Comfortable building high-performance, highly available, and scalable distributed systems.
• Experience integrating microservices / custom portal applications with ERPs like Oracle (On-Prem / Cloud) / Zuora or CRM systems like SFDC is a plus.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, cross-functional tech leads, and other engineering teams on planning upcoming work and formalizing proposals.
• Partner with multiple technology teams (eCommerce, Salesforce, Oracle, Zuora, Data Engineering, Cloud-Native tech in-house systems) to architect system solutions focused on customer / partner experience, moderate technical requirements, and high-level designs with system integrations.
• Establish credibility and relationships with cross-functional and senior technical leaders within Zoom and among customers, becoming trusted advisors.
• Present technical architecture deliverables such as Ecosystem and Integration diagrams, Object and Data models, Business Process Flows, and Microservice designs to abstract core ERP features into consumable grade APIs.

In addition to the base salary and / or OTE listed, Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration base salary, bonus, and equity value.

Note : Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location-based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations.
