• Healthcare Setting : Behavioral Health Unit (4th Floor, 19 beds)\n
• Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 10 / 2025 – End : 2 / 9 / 2026)\n
• Nursing Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)\n
• Hours per Week : 36\n
• Weekend Requirement : 3-4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule\n
• Dress Code : Navy blue scrubs (top and bottom)\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary : $1630–$1750\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana\n
• Minimum 2 years of behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience\n
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required\n
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification required\n
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred\n
• Medical / surgical nursing experience is a plus\n
• Strong teamwork, communication, and patient care skills\n\nPsychiatric Nurse Responsibilities\n
• Provide high-quality psychiatric nursing care to patients in the Behavioral Health Unit\n
• Perform blood glucose checks and administer medications\n
• Conduct patient assessments and document care in Meditech EMR\n
• Assist with dressing changes as needed\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams including MH Techs, therapists, and planners\n
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and staff\n
