Job Summary :

Cuready is looking for an experienced Pediatric Echo Sonographer for a full-time position at one of our affiliated facilities in Asheville, North Carolina.

Contract term :

Term : Full time / permanent

Shift : Days, 40-hours / week

Start date : ASAP

Weekends : Rotating

Job requirements :

Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer will need to be proficient in locating, evaluating, and recording pertinent anatomical congenital heart pathology, while effectively communicating any findings with the attending physician.

Performs all facets of cardiac ultrasound testing for the noninvasive laboratory of Cardiology Services, including two-dimensional, Doppler, transesophageal and stress echocardiography.

Required Education : Graduate from an accredited cardiac sonography program or have practiced as a sonographer for greater than 2 years.

Preferred Experience : 5 years practicing as a sonographer

Strong understanding of congenital heart pathologies and both pre / post-surgical procedures.

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification with AHA.

One of the following credentials : Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography or RCS registry from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
