Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Float Pool

Job Type : PT 0.4-0.6 FTE Days Weekends per MNA Contract

$12,000 Sign-on Bonus with two (2) year commitment to that role. Open to external applicates who have not been previously employed by CMC in the last rolling 9 months.

Qualifications and requirements

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include :

  • BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
  • ACLS, NPR and STABLE are required within six (6) months of hire
  • Two (2) year of adult acute care experience required
  • One (1) year experience in pediatric, women & children’s or newborn nursery areas required
  • Two (2) to five (5) years acute care experience preferred

Department / Unit Summary

The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care of patients from admission to department through discharge or transfer.

Provides expert care and education to patients in clinical setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel.

The RN is knowledgeable in clinical nursing procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents. Manages patient loads in assigned timelines.
