Title : Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Position Type : Part-Time and Full-Time

Reports To : Director of Developmental Disability Services

Location : Community-Based Home Settings

Position Summary :

We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and self-motivated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide person-centered support to adults or youth with developmental disabilities (DD) in their own living environments. This includes Independent Living, Supported Employment, Family Supported Living, Day Habilitation, and Vocational Work settings.

DSPs play a vital role in helping individuals achieve greater independence, participate in their communities, and meet their personal goals.

These shifts may occur any day of the week, and typically from 7am-8am are the shifts : )

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide direct care and supervision tailored to the individual's needs in areas such as :

Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) (e.g., hygiene, meal prep, medication reminders)

Daily Documentation & Data Requirements (Therap) :

All services provided must be documented daily in the Therap documentation system in order to be eligible for reimbursement. This includes :

Failure to complete daily documentation may result in services not being reimbursed. DSPs are expected to log all required data accurately, in real time or shortly after service delivery.
