IT Warehouse and Asset Management Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION

Volt is immediately hiring for a Material Coordinator I - Material Planning and Control in Moline, IL.

As a Material Coordinator I - Material Planning and Control, you will :

• Shipping and receiving of IT equipment within our configuration center warehouse.
• Receiving equipment from vendor and adding to inventory
• Staging product for daily build schedules
• Prepping equipment for shipping to customers
• Coordination with carriers to ship equipment
• Interaction with shipping / receiving departments and guidelines
• Responsible for asset management to ensure effective tracking of assets within the United States.
• Some technical skill and background for day-to-day functions of the role.

Skills :

• Forklift driving is part of the job duties. Around 5 hours a week. Will provide training but previous forklift experience is preferred.
• Knowledge or basic understanding of MS office / SAP / experience with personal computer / IT experience.
• ServiceNow updates as devices move from primary location via transfer orders
• Inventory Audits on monthly basis
• Barcode and assign asset upon receipt
• Inventory consolidation for reuse or disposal

Shift : Monday Friday 1st Shift

Duration : 12+ Months

Location : Moline, IL 61265

Work Schedule : Onsite

Pay rate : $20 / hr. to $24 / hr.

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
