This is a remote opportunity with preference given to candidates local to the DMV (DC / MD / VA) metro area with ET time zone work schedule.
Daily Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and integrate of out-of-box and custom Salesforce applications through the SDLC using modern web technologies.
- Support the design of custom objects, custom fields, picklists, page layouts, workflow, approval processes, validation rules, custom tabs, reports, Visual force pages, dashboards, and email generation according to application requirements.
- Integrate Salesforce system with internal and external systems using Web and Salesforce / Force.com API technologies (SOAP, REST), MuleSoft Middleware tool, and integration between Salesforce and MuleSoft itself.
- Write Apex batch, schedule classes by implementing batch interfaces for processing large data sets in scheduled intervals.
- Conduct release management activities using source control, and deployment concepts and technologies such as ANT, GitHub, DevOps CI / CD Pipelines, etc.
- Validate application code against unit tests, security tests, and profiling tools.
- Assist in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving defects.
- Create project documentation, including technical designs, deployment guides etc.
- Translate functional requirements into technical requirements.

Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, as mandated by our government client.Must be able to complete / pass / maintain a public trust investigation.Although this position is remote, preference is given to candidates local to the DC / MD / VA metro area.9+ years of overall software development experience.7+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce design, development, and integration of out-of-box and custom Salesforce applications through the SDLC.Solid understanding of the out-of-box Salesforce product suite, including Service, Community Cloud and App Cloud.Must be able to advise on custom solutions to accommodate client’s specific requirements.Development experience in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Force.com and approaches to mobile applications.Solid knowledge of web development technologies like Ajax, JavaScript, Angular JS, CSS Bootstrap, etc.Experience in designing picklists, Page Layouts, Workflow, Approval Process, SF Reports, Visualforce Pages, Triggers, Dashboards, and email generation.Experience with migration between environments using DevOps processes and tools, e.g., Jenkins, GitHub, DevOps.Experience with scripted data loader, web services, cloud or on-premises middleware and other enterprise integrating technologies.Strong interpersonal, written, presentation skills and customer service skills.BS / BA degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, or related IT discipline.Certification in one or more of the following is a PLUS :Salesforce Certified Platform App BuilderSalesforce Certified Platform DeveloperSalesforce Certified Service Education Cloud ConsultantSalesforce Certified AdministratorOur Comprehensive Benefits Package Includes :

The annual salary range for this position is $118,900-$179,900.
