About The Position
Job Title : Cath Lab Tech Job Specialty : Cardiac Cath Lab Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 4x10-Hour (07 : 00 - 17 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum of 2 years License : Valid State License required at time of submission Certifications : IEMA, BLS Required Must-Have : Experience with EPIC and GE MacLab Job Description : Scrub and Monitor cardiac diagnostic and PCI procedures- Prefer experience in structural heart cases- Participate in on-call obligations up to 2 days per week and every other weekend- Charting experience with EPIC required- Orientation is 40 hours- Comply with fit testing requirements- Flu Vaccine required, exemptions for medical / religious reasons only- Participate in every other weekend on-call duty- Attend mandatory orientations and meetings- Follow facility protocols and safety procedures- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment- Must float within service line as needed Additional Information : Travel compliance deadline is 3 PM CST on the Wednesday of the week before initial start date- Facial hair must be kept in a manner that allows for proper fit testing- No local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius- Must provide two supervisory references within the last two years for certain positions- Opportunity for contract extension based on performance and needs- Traveler may remain for 12 months with a required break thereafterNote : The facility does not require a COVID-19 vaccine, though flu vaccination is mandatory unless exempted for specific reasons.
