About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

License : Valid nursing license required for submission

Certifications : BLS, NRP

Must-Have :

• Proficient in titrating drips including Pitocin, Mag, and Procardia.
• Knowledge of AWHONN guidelines for nurse-patient ratios.
• Experience with 15 LDRP beds and managing postpartum and antepartum patients.

Description :

The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery department.

The unit handles approximately 400 births a year.

Nurses work under a ratio of 1 : 3 and 1 : 1 for laboring patients.

Nurses are required to troubleshoot respiratory equipment but not operate it.

Every other weekend and holiday shifts are required based on staffing needs.

There is no call or standby requirement for this role.

Registered Nurses are part of a team that receives high patient experience scores.

Floating to other units is rare and would only be for critical staffing needs.

Charting is performed using EPIC systems.

The role demands flexibility and commitment to patient care excellence.
