Weekend Security Officer - Cleared (Clearance Required - Unarmed)

Site Location : Huntsville, Alabama
Starting Base Pay : $18.50 / Hour.
Employment Type : Part Time
Shifts Available : Overnights
Overnight Shift : 7 PM - 7 AM
Workdays Available : Saturday - Sunday

RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provide high-quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism
- Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
- Greet guests and employees and escorts visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points
- Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to the client and / or other security personnel
- Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alarms
- Act as a first responder in emergency situations
QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE) :
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
- Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations take into account a person's stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment)
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- Must possess one or more of the following :
- Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site
- Prior military experience
- Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE) :
- Prior law enforcement or armed security experience
- Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field
